RazoRock Al Sapone Italian Shaving Soap

Anyone who participates in our little traditional wet shaving community knows the face on this label. For those who don't, it's none other than RAY POPE. Ray has a YouTube channel where he shaves, casually reviews products and best of all shares some entertaining and sometimes hilarious life experiences.  Not everyone likes Ray's style but I'm a huge fan and he always brings a smile to my face.  You will be hard-pressed to find a guy with a bigger heart.

We've been wanting to do an "Al Sapone" soap for a few years now, Sapone is Italian for soap and it's obviously a play on words with the infamous Italian-American gangster Al Capone. For the PC and the easily offended, this soap is not about promoting the Mafia or the Gangster lifestyle, the tie-in is a scent and attitude that bring you back to 1920s Chicago, where men were MEN, dressed like MEN and smelled like MEN.  It just so happens that RAY POPE is also a Chicago boy!

What can you expect from the shave? This is our latest all-natural soap base with a very special Italian sourced lanolin. Expect to hear angels singing while you lather, if you don't, go see your doctor because something is probably wrong with you.

Scent: Inspired by a vaulted fragrance from my favorite fragrance house.  At one time used to scent the gloves of British royalty.  A mildly scented soap, soft citrus notes over a distinctively leather and wood base. If you've ever worn a new pair of hand made Italian leather gloves and couldn't stop smelling them, this is the shaving soap for you.

Size: Hot filled to 125 ml

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Aqua, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, Lanolin

Artisan Made in Italy

Tips: RazoRock Italian shaving soaps are formulated to be used with a traditional shaving brush. If you haven't used a brush before, I highly recommend one of the RazoRock Plissoft brushes, their quality and value is second to none. To use this shaving soap, simply swirl a wet shaving brush on top of the soap for 30-40 seconds, then you can either complete the lather right on your face or in a lathering bowl, add droplets of water to the lather until you reach your desired consistency. Less water will make for a thicker and pastier lather, more water will make a slicker and thinner lather. Make sure to let the soap fully dry before covering it again with the lid. If you are using the soap daily, there is no need to cover it.
